Responsibilities: Concepts And Wireframes, Creating Proto-Personas, Research, User Experience Audit, Briefing Colleagues, Leading A Workshop.
Tools: Freehand, Sketch, Miro.

In my first entirely remote design project after the 2020 pandemic began, we transformed the website for a global adhesive solutions manufacturer with a household name. I created high fidelity wireframes for the page templates, concepted more than half of the new modules and documented the design system.
Our process was a mixture of remote workshops, client meetings and collaborative working sessions. We pitched our design ideas to the client, did a website audit and competitor benchmarking, built user story maps, created proto-personas, consolidated feedback from clients into wireframes, created several page templates, gave design input and documented the design system.
My responsibilities
- We did the website experience audit, identified the key user journeys, built a user tasks map and created proto-personas.
- I collected the insights and comments from our briefings with the client and created the first low fidelity wireframes, using Sketch and Freehand, based on their requests and our user insights.
- I concepted more than half the modules, trying to simplify a lot of complex information in the most user friendly way, whilst meeting the client’s needs.
- I briefed the designers on the wireframes and concepts, then supported them with the process by answering their questions and writing copy.
- After some research, I led a remote experience principle workshop for the designers, using Freehand, to gain consensus for our animation style.
- After getting familiar with the best practice examples out there, we created a template for our design system, using Sketch, over several working sessions.
